Who I Am
Food Simply was founded by Me, Camille McArdle-Hankin, I am a student of Psychology, Medical Anthropology, and Plant-Based Nutrition, but more so, I am a student of life. Some might say I am an epistemophilia, due to my love of learning and preoccupation with knowledge. However, the way I see it, I am just open and curious.
My mission is to bring awareness to health, community, and conversation. I have a passion for cooking vegan farm-to-table, whole-food recipes, which has emerged from my concerns about the current environmental state of our planet, the unjust treatment of animals, and the epidemic of health problems that exist due to the food we eat.
In addition, I believe that food inspires fellowship and that the act of people coming together to share a meal is both powerful and important. My curiosity to meet new people, try new things, and most importantly, learn from others is what inspired me to start Food Simply.
My goal is simple: host exquisite dinners, bring community together, and share a real conversation around one table.
